"We spend a wonderful month of March at Kerry and Christyne’ s the Beach House. The house has simply the best possible view of French Creek Bay in Parksville. We really enjoyed our daily crossing of the beach to go to the French Creek Seafood shop, a 15-20 minutes walk. As we live in Calgary we enjoyed access to fresh fish and seafood. The house has 3 bedrooms so my sister visited from Quebec for a week, and our best Vancouver friends both came for a few days visits. Everyone enjoyed their visit. My sister was enchanted by the size of the old growth trees in the near by forests and cooking a seafood fest. All saw sea lions in most impressive grouping, sea otters, herring spawn not to mention eagles nesting on the property, blue herons, ducks and a wide variety of small birds. The confluence of the creek and the ocean bay is without doubt a paradise for birds. If you like cooking like us, the kitchen is well appointed. The area between Parksville and Qualicum Beach is full of restaurants and various food stores. We highly recommend the Beach House and hope we can come back."

"Our family decided to come back to this house after many years and it was just as beautiful as ever!! The house is big with enough rooms and bathrooms for everyone!!! We used the very well stocked kitchen to cook all our own meals. You can even walk to the local marina and buy fish caught that very day and come home and bbq it! The back yard is huge with every kind of game you want to play and a toy shed for the kids. At any time of day you can see deer coming in the yard to eat the apples from the trees. There is also bald eagles nests right close by, you can watch them catch fish right in the harbour. The host Kerry is right close by and is there right away if you ever need anything. He has even built a nice boat house by the water with kayaks and paddle boards you can use any time! He has thought of everything! The house is up on a bluff and has amazing views of the harbour and mountains. The beach is like our own private beach with hardly anyone there. It’s great for swimming when the tide comes in over the sand it makes it very warm. We built a big sand castle and watched the tide come in and knock it down! There are lots of fun things to do here including just relaxing and watching the ocean. Thank you for having us Kerry! We will definitely come again!"
